What is the Hawaii Leadership Academy?

The Hawaii Leadership Academy is a three-day event in Hilo, Hawaii, from September 9-11, 2024.  Iain De Jong, President & CEO of OrgCode Consulting, Inc., will provide the curriculum and instruction. Special guests will assist him. 

HOPE Services Hawaii, Inc. is hosting the event and providing logistical support and hospitality. HOPE Services Hawaii provides homeless services on Hawaii Island, offering a range of housing-focused programs that include outreach, psychiatric street medicine, emergency shelters, interim housing, medical respite, and permanent supportive housing. 

We believe leadership is necessary to get from the status quo to a new reality. We believe that leadership is the essential ingredient for sustained change. We believe that leadership is the difference between effective and ineffective communication. We believe that leadership is the difference between strategic and aimless change. We believe we can teach people and organizations to be transformative and powerful, to change who they are – right down to their core.

Registration Info

Registration Cost:  $150.00

Registration closes on August 8, 2024

Included in the costs are:

  • Afternoon refreshments and Pau Hana Pupus on Day One 
  • Breakfast, Lunch, afternoon refreshments, and Pau Hana Pupus on Day Two
  • Breakfast, Lunch, and afternoon refreshments on Day Three
  • All Academy materials
  • The meeting space
  • Self-Care activities

You will be on your own to cover transportation (ground & air) and lodging accommodations.

Please note that registrations are transferable to other people but are not refundable.

A block of hotel rooms for Hawaii Leadership Academy participants at the Grand Naniloa Hotel is set aside for $199/night + applicable taxes and fees. Resort Fees are waived. Please note that this rate is only available for the nights of Sept 9th-10th. If you choose to book outside of these dates, the regular room rates will apply.
