The Rotary Club of Hilo Bay participated in a Weinberg Friends program on Saturday, February 28 to benefit HOPE Services Hawaii.
25+ Hilo Bay Rotarians completed a sweat-equity service project consisting of cleaning and painting the exterior of Beyond Shelter in Hilo, a transitional housing facility owned by St. Joseph Catholic Church and operated by HOPE.
In recognition of the rotary’s work, The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation issued HOPE a $10,000 grant to continue its work to help Hawai‘i Island’s homeless population.
