Lava Relief Services

Like several other organizations in Hawaiʻi, HOPE Services jumped into action when the need was greatest. See what we've accomplished below.

Constructed in just 30 days, Sacred Heart Shelter was a swift response to an immediate need. HOPE Services, in conjunction with several community partners, jumped into action to build this 20 unit shelter for displaced seniors.

With construction spearheaded by Connect Point Church, and supported by many community partners, these emergency micro-homes were built for keiki and families who were impacted by the lava. Hale Iki Village is managed by HOPE Services.

Outreach

HOPE Services provides assistance to our displaced clients as they navigate and apply for disaster relief services. Although our primary focus is housing we connect our clients to our partner organizations, primarily through HI-DARRT, where they may be eligible for medical, legal, health, and financial assistance.
